Analysis of the Citation Breadth and Citation Depth of the Author's Literature

摘　　要：探究被引广度(Cited Breadth,简称为“CB”)、被引深度(Cited Depth,简称为“CD”)之间的关系,以及CB、CD与作者学术影响力的关系,可为该领域研究提供重要参考和依据。选择信息科学与图书馆学和跨学科中兼顾高被引和高发文的前10名作者,并在WoS核心数据库中获取20位作者的全部数据,运用CB和CD公式计算20位作者的数据结果,进而从二者关系、与作者引用影响力关系、与作者社会影响力关系、与作者合作影响力关系等角度着手,分析CB和CD特征。结果发现,无论是单一学科还是跨学科,CB和CD存在相关性,但是相关系数较低;CB与作者学术影响力的相关性较低,但是能够多元化表示作者的影响力;CD能够表示作者引文分布情况,且与作者引用影响力、社会影响力、合作影响力的相关性较高,更能展现作者研究工作和其他不同类别研究成果在不同维度的影响力,兼顾揭示学术写作中所引起的公众参与情况。综合来看,CB、CD与学术影响力具有一定关系,但是并不能代表作者学术影响力,只能作为参考性的依据。Explore the relationship between cited breadth(referred to as"CB")and cited depth(referred to as"CD");The relationship between the academic influence and scholars provides reference and basis for the research in this field.First,we select the top 10 scholars in information science,library science and interdisciplinary fields who are both highly cited and highly published,and obtain all the data of 20 scholars in the WoS core database.Secondly,the data results of 20 scholars were calculated according to CB and CD calculation formulas.Finally,the characteristics of CB and CD are analyzed from the perspectives of the relationship between CB and CD,the relationship of citation influence,the relationship of social influence,and the relationship of cooperation influence.The study found that Whether in a single discipline or across disciplines,CB and CD are correlated,but the correlation coefficient is low.The correlation between CB and the author's academic influence is low,but CB can represent the author's influence in multiple ways.CD can represent the author's citation distribution,and has a high correlation with the author's citation influence,social influence and cooperative influence.It can also show the influence of the author's research work and other research results of different categories in different dimensions,and also reveal the public participation caused by academic writing.In summary,CB and CD have a certain relationship with academic influence,but they can not represent the author's academic influence,and can only serve as a reference basis.
