数字普惠金融发展能否缓解居民消费不平等?——来自CHFS的实证证据

摘　　要：本研究首先采集2019年中国家庭金融调查(CHFS)数据,基于家庭Zenga点不平等指数测算了全国消费不平等程度,剖析其中的组群态势和结构贡献;然后,匹配结合地级市数字普惠金融指数,构建单向固定效应模型,解析数字普惠金融对不同收入群体消费差距的影响机制。结果显示:(1)从消费不平等的区域和结构表现看,东部消费不平等程度较高,而东北地区相对较低,且全国各地区生存享受型消费不平等高于发展型消费不平等;(2)数字普惠金融与消费不平等之间呈现“倒U型”变动关系,其诱因在于数字普惠金融发展初期存在的数字鸿沟;(3)数字普惠金融对消费不平等的影响存在生命周期和区域异质性。上述结论对研究消减消费不平等和扩大居民消费具有重要意义。This Yesearch first collects data from the 2019 China Household Finance Survey(CHFS),calculates the national level of consumption inequality based on the household Zenga ineguality index and analyzes the group dynamics and structural contributions;then,by matching and combining the digital inclusive finance index of prefecture-level cities,a one-way fixed effects model is constructed to analyze the impact mechanism of digital inclusive finance on consumption inequality among different income groups.The results show that:(1)in terms of regional and structural performance of consumption inequality,the eastern region has a higher degree of consumption inequality,while the northeastern region is relatively lower,and the inequality in consumption for living enjoyment is higher than that in developmental consumption;(2)there is an“inverted U-shaped”relationship between digital inclusive finance and consumption inequality,which is due to the digital divide that exists in the early stages of the development of digital inclusive finance;(3)the impact of digital inclusive finance on consumption inequality has a life cycle and regional heterogeneity.These findings are of great significance for studying measures to reduce consumption inequality and expand household consumption.
