关于《蒙古字韵》第一版的若干史实考述

摘　　要：八思巴字是元代国师八思巴在元代建立前主持创制的一种拼音文字。《蒙古字韵》第一版则是在元世祖忽必烈时期编纂成的一部用八思巴字标注汉字读音的韵书。《蒙古字韵》反映了13世纪中后期元代汉语共同语的语音情况,是汉语音韵学中关于元代汉语的一部重要文献资料,具有较高的语音史研究价值。此外,它对于少数民族文字与汉文双语辞书编纂研究、汉语韵书的发展史、文物考证、元代文化教育的研究等,也都有重要意义。关于《蒙古字韵》第一版的作者、成书时间和主要读者对象,学术界有不同观点。本文对此做了进一步探讨。"Phags-pa script is an alphabetic writing system created by Yuan Dynasty national preceptor"Phags-pa before the establishment of Yuan Dynasty.The first edition of Menggu Ziyun was a rhyme book compiledduring the reign of Emperor Khublai,which annotated the pronunciation of Chinese characters with "Phags-pa script.Menggu Ziyun reflects the phonetic facts of Yuan Chinese common language in the mid to late 13thcentury.It is an important literature on Yuan Chinese phonology and has high research value in phonetic his-tory.In addition,it is of great significance for the compilation and research of bilingual dictionaries for ethnicminorities" languages and the Chinese,historical evolution of Chinese rhyme books,relic identification,andthe studies of cultural education during Yuan Dynasty.There are different opinions in academic communityregarding the author,completion time,and main readership of the first edition of Menggu Ziyun.This articlemade a further exploration into these topics.
