“激进的”抑或“根本的”:赫勒需要理论中一个重要的翻译问题

摘　　要：需要理论是阿格尼丝·赫勒哲学思想的重要组成部分,她在《马克思的需要理论》等著作中进行了系统阐发。“radical need”作为理解其需要理论的一个关键概念,一些学者将其直译为“激进需要”,我们认为,这种译法并不能准确地刻画赫勒赋予该词的哲学内涵,而意译为“根本需要”将有助于我们更加精准地把握“radical need”的内涵和外延。一方面,人们需要充分考察赫勒提出这个概念的原初语境,以相关文本为依托,才能深入理解她关于“radical need”的相关讨论,并作出合理的阐释;另一方面,只有从马克思主义需要理论的整体性特征与发展历程入手,人们才能准确理解“radical need”的哲学意蕴以及赫勒需要理论的本质特征与旨归。Theory of need is a critical component in Agnes Heller's thoughts,which was systematically expounded in her works like The Theory of Need in Marx and Radical Philosophy.Radical needs,a core concept in the theory,was translated literally,which fails to accurately and completely depict the author's philosophical intention.The translation into fundamental needs will help us to grasp the connotation and extension of the term more accurately.Firstly,we need to investigate the original context and relevant texts of the author,therefore,make a reasonable explanation of the term;Secondly,we need to grasp the philosophical implication of the term.Only with regard to the overall characteristics and evolution of Marxist theory of need in-depth,can we get the philosophical connotation of the term as well as essential features of the theory accurately.
