摘　　要：Reservoir characterization refers to the process of creating a comprehensive model that characterizes the reservoir based on its ability to store and produce hydrocarbons.This includes analyzing reservoir fluid behavior under various conditions and identifying optimal production techniques to maximize hydrocarbon recovery.For this,a holistic understanding is required that integrates data from geophysics,geostatistics,petrophysics,geology,and reservoir engineering.
