摘　　要：新疆喀什某砖瓦用页岩矿位于塔里木板块、叠于塔里木中央地块之上的塔西南中-新生代坳陷盆地中,主要赋存于新近系上新统阿图什组(N_(2)a)地层中,为向南东倾的平缓单斜地层。矿体为页岩、粉砂质页岩,通过对该矿床矿体特征、矿石特征分析,说明该地区页岩矿能够作为砖瓦用原料。A brick and tile shale mine in Kashgar,Xinjiang,is located in the Meso-Cenozoic depression basin of southwest Tarim on top of the Tarim central massif,and is mainly found in the Upper Neogene Upper Eo⁃cene Artush Formation(N2a)strata,which is a gentle monocline stratum dipping to the south and east.The ore body is shale and silty shale,and through the analysis of the ore body characteristics and ore characteristics of the deposit,it is shown that the shale ore in this area can be used as a raw material for bricks and tiles.
