论符号主义与联结主义人工智能的发展

摘　　要：自人工智能兴起之初,就有人对其发展倍感期待,也有人对此惶恐不安。无论人们对其态度如何,不可否认的是人工智能已经成为了推动人类社会进步的重要驱动力量。然而,若想充分发挥人工智能对社会发展的重要赋能作用,就必须在厘清人工智能的工作机理的基础上,剖析其局限性,找到人工智能的发展路径。人类智能主要包括演绎推理和归纳总结两种思维形式,其分别对应着人工智能的两种逻辑进路:符号主义与联结主义。文章通过分析符号主义与联洁主义人工智能在目前的局限性和未来的潜力,找到人工智能的发展方向,对人工智能有一个公正客观而又与时俱进的认识。Since the beginning of the rise of artificial intelligence,some people have been eagerly anticipating its development,while others have been anxious and uneasy about it.Regardless of people’s attitudes towards it,it cannot be denied that artificial intelligence has become an important driving force for advancing human society.However,in order to fully leverage the important empowering role of artificial intelligence in social development,it is necessary to clarify the working mechanism of artificial intelligence,analyze its limitations,and find the development path of artificial intelligence.Human intelligence mainly includes two forms of thinking:deductive reasoning and inductive summarization,which correspond to the two major logical approaches of artificial intelligence:symbolism and connectionism.The article analyzes the current limitations and future potential of symbolic and connectionist artificial intelligence,identifies the development direction of artificial intelligence,and provides a fair,objective,and up-to-date understanding of artificial intelligence.
