人工智能辅助高校英语专业“英美文学”教学探析

摘　　要：针对目前高校英语专业“英美文学”课程教学中存在的一些问题,如未能充分引导学生发挥主观能动性、文本分析及作品选择方面的局限性等,探析人工智能辅助推动“英美文学”课程教学改革的可行性。人工智能的引入将极大地丰富“英美文学”课程的教学内容,使得对文学作品的分析达到新的高度,突破作品选择的局限性,为学生提供个性化的学习支持,促进“英美文学”教学的国际交流与合作。因此,高校英语专业的“英美文学”教学若能抓住人工智能带来的新机遇,扬长避短,那么人工智能必将对培养具有国际视野和跨文化交流能力的优秀外语人才起到推动作用。This paper explores the possibility of utilizing artificial intelligence(AI)to address several issues prevalent in the current teaching of English and American literature courses for English majors in Chinese universities.These issues include the failure to sufficiently guide students to demonstrate subjective initiative,limitations in text analysis,and constraints in the selection of literary works and so on.The introduction of AI could greatly enrich the literature teaching content,elevate the analysis of literary texts to new heights,overcome the limitations in work selection by providing personalized learning support to students,promote international exchanges and cooperation in English and American literature teaching.Therefore,if Chinese universities seize the opportunities presented by AI,leveraging its strengths while mitigating its weaknesses,AI will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in helping to cultivate outstanding foreign language talents with international perspectives and crosscultural communication skills in China.
