摘　　要：《米芾砚史》是荷兰汉学家高罗佩对中国雅文化研究的开山之作,该书从文献和实物入手系统考察中国砚台与米芾的鉴赏理论。但与米芾不同,高氏尝试建构一套基于“西方现代科学”的书画鉴赏体系,认为装裱技艺才是通往书画鉴赏的门径。更重要的是,他进入中国书画鉴赏的独特视角,对西方艺术史研究转向“物质性”有先导之功。Mi Fu on Inkstones is the pioneering work of Dutch sinologist Robert Hans van Gulik in the field of Chinese elegant culture studies.The book systemically examines Chinese inkstones and Mi Fu’s theories of appreciation from literature and physical objects.Unlike Mi Fu,Gulik attempts to construct a system of painting and calligraphy appreciation based on“modern Western science”,holding that mounting technique is the gateway to painting and calligraphy appreciation.More importantly,from the unique perspective in appreciation of Chinese painting and calligraphy,Gulik takes lead in the shift to“materiality”in the study of Western art history.
