摘　　要：In Tuvan vocabulary,there are not only numerous Mongolian loanwords,but also a significant number of Mongolian words in their geographic names.This paper analyzes and studies Mongolian words in Tuvan Geographic Names from three perspectives:lexical meanings,roles in geographic names,and pragmatic functions.It summarizes the pragmatic characteristics and patterns of Mongolian language words in Tuvan geographic names.
