Structural flow-induced noise is a complex problem involving multiple fields. In this paper, taking plate flow-induced noise as an example,a statistical wave superposition method for predicting flow-induced structural noise is proposed. This method first uses the finite element coupled wave superposition method to obtain the system transfer function matrix, and then refers to the semi-empirical formula of random sound and vibration theory to construct the turbulent fluctuating pressure excitation spectrum matrix to obtain the flow-induced noise. The paper provides a detailed process for predicting plate flow-induced noise and compares it with the results of traditional theoretical calculations, such as the statistical finite element method and statistical boundary element method,to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the algorithm. Finally, the key parameters that affect the calculation accuracy of the statistical wave superposition method are presented. The research results of this paper provide a prediction method and technical support for structural vibration noise control.
