数据化睡眠:数字资本主义语境下的量化自我实践

摘　　要：乔纳森·克拉里提出,对于24/7的资本主义完全实现而言,自然睡眠是仅存的阻碍,不可能被消除。然而,随着睡眠监测平台的兴起,数据化睡眠成为数字社会的生活日常,自然睡眠这一抵抗资本主义的“最后堡垒”濒临瓦解。研究发现,数据化睡眠实质上是一种资本逻辑的量化自我实践——数字资本通过社交媒体为睡眠监测赋魅,革新了身体的自然需要;在资本营造的“自主”幻象中,睡眠监测者落入人机断连陷阱,形成机器感知下的“数据依存症”;以健康为名的技术承诺里,隐伏着平台对用户隐私的“合理化”侵占,从被动榨取到主动让渡,睡眠数据成为数字资本全域时间剥削的利器。Jonathan Crary proposed that for the complete realization of 24/7 capitalism,natural sleep is the only major obstacle that remains and cannot be eliminated.However,with the rise of sleep monitoring platforms,sleep datafication has become a daily life in the digital agenatural,sleep,the“last fortress”against capitalism is on the verge of collapse.The study found that,sleep datafication is essentially a quantitative self practice of capital logic,digital capital enchants sleep monitoring through social media,revolutionizing the natural needs of the body;In the illusion of“autonomy”created by digital capital,users of sleep monitoring platforms fall into the trap of human-machine disconnection,forming a“data dependency syndrome”in machine perception;Under the promise of technology in the name of health,there is a hidden platform’s“rationalization”encroachment on user privacy data,from passive exploitation to active transfer,sleep data has become a powerful tool for global time exploitation of digital capital.
