摘　　要：梳理元宇宙产生与发展的关键特征,指出元宇宙与城市设计之间的共性:源于愿景、基于现实和协同创造;进一步总结元宇宙赋能城市设计的三个维度:空间拓维、时间延续和人民共建。根据城市建设与运营层面的需求及城市设计工作的开展,提出了“R(real-ity)”与“AR(augmented reality)”虚实结合的方法——“RAR(reality augmented reality)”,将应用“RAR”方法开展的元宇宙赋能的城市设计过程与结果统称为“城元宇宙”。对典型的“城元宇宙”实践进行总结,对创作过程进行分类细化并架构创作与运营的总流程图,详述应用“RAR”方法实现元宇宙赋能城市设计的技术路径,以期在存量背景下为未来城市设计的发展提供指引。Through delineating key characteristics of the emergence and development of the metaverse,this paper highlights the commonalities between the metaverse and urban design,which include common origins in vision,shared foundations in reality,and similar creation processes through collaboration.Furthermore,the paper summarizes three dimensions in which the metaverse-empoweres urban design:spatial expansion,temporal continuity,and communal co-creation.Considering issues in urban development,city operation,and urban design processes,a method combining"reality(R)"and"augmented reality(AR)"-termed"RAR(Reality Augmented Reality)"-is proposed.The process and outcomes of metaverse-empowered urban design using the"RAR"method are collectively referred to as"metacity".By summarizing typical practices of"metacity",the paper categorizes and examines in detail the creation process,establishing a comprehensive flowchart of creation and operation.It further elaborates on the technical pathway for realizing metaverse-empowered urban design through the"RAR"method with the aim of providing urban design guidance against the backdrop of existing urban landscapes.
