摘 要:《装饰与罪恶》是一篇振聋发聩的批判式檄文。本文通过细读文本,并联系其其他文章,同时辅佐以文本产生的语境分析,期望能回答以往研究中未曾谈及的一些问题。本文认为,无论中西方,“装饰”本身都是一个复杂的词语,具有多重含义,既具有文化性、精神性,又具有时代性、物质性。在卢斯看来,文化性是一种确定性、合理性的存在,因此应关注装饰的有机性;而时代性是一种不确定性的存在,因此应留给时间进行选择,而不应由设计师主观去介入。也因此,他更刻意强调前者,贬低后者,而坚决反对同时丧失两种属性的装饰。Ornament and Crime is a resounding critical essay.In this article,the author carefully rereads the text and connects it with other articles,while assisting with the contextual analysis generated by the text,hoping to answer some questions that have not been discussed in previous research.This article argues that regardless of the East or the West,"ornament"itself is a complex word with multiple meanings,possessing both cultural and spiritual significance,as well as contemporary and material characteristics.In Loos's view,culturalism is a deterministic and rational existence,therefore attention should be paid to the organic nature of decoration;Timeliness is an uncertain existence,so it should be left for time to choose,rather than subjective intervention by designers.Therefore,he deliberately emphasizes the former and belittles the latter,while firmly opposing decorations that lose both attributes at the same time.
