从物化批判到生命潜能:论作为城市本质的“人城间性”

摘　　要：城市不止是一系列空间、现象、行为的集合,而且与人有根本性的联结:城市是人存在与发展的重要场域,具有形上追问的价值。城市的本质只有在人和城市的关系中才得以澄明,本文将其概括为“人城间性”。基于“人城关系”揭示城市本质,首先意味着城市是对人作为生命存在的回应。随着现代生产方式的变革,城市正面临“城市拜物教”的困境,它根本上体现为人城关系的物化:资本、技术、权力成为城市的统治性力量,支配着当代人的现实和行为。城市新物化的事实不仅意味着对人和城市之间原初生命关联的漠视、扭曲和遮蔽,更趋向于对生命的彻底否定,以至于城市面临着衰亡的可能性。在此背景下,“人城间性”必然以“城市生命论”的姿态出场,在批判城市拜物教的基础上把城市重新定位为一种生命潜能,指向一系列建构良性人城关系的行动,以期为当代人理解和反思城市提供参照。人城间性展开为幻想、想象、预盼、认知、记忆、城市一大学精神等六个面向,它们既是人在城市中显现其作为完整、本真生命存在不可或缺的维度,也是城市回应生命的重要向度。The city is not only a collection of spaces,phenomena,and behaviors,but also has a fundamental connection with people:the city is an important field of human existence and development,and has the value of formal inquiry.The essence of the city can only emerge and be clarified in the relationship between people and the city,which is summarized in this paper as"interman-city".Revealing the nature of the city based on the"man-city relationship"firstly means that the city is a response to the existence of human beings as life.With the change of modern production mode,the city is facing the dilemma of"fetishism of city",which is fundamentally embodied in the materialization of man-city relationship:capital,technology,and power have become the dominant forces in the city,which dictate the reality and behavior of contemporary people.The fact of the new objectification of the city not only implies the disregard,distortion,and obscuring of the original life connection between human beings and the city,but also tends to the complete denial of life,so much so that the city is facing the possibility of demise.Against this background,c inter-man-city"inevitably takes the form of"the life view of city",repositioning the city as a kind of life potential on the basis of criticizing urban fetishism,and pointing to a series of actions to construct benign human-city relations."Inter-man-city"unfolds into six dimensions:fantasy,imagination,anticipation,cognition,memory,and urban-university spirit,which are indispensable dimensions for human beings to manifest their complete and authentic existence in the city,and also important directions for the city to respond to the life of human beings.
