摘 要:《哈佛新编中国现代文学史》中独异的抒情传统面向集中体现了王德威的文学史观及其对抒情现代性的实践,这与他的抒情传统研究一脉相承。抒情为文学史的书写打开了一个可能的向度与空间,此文学史中的抒情传统面向从启蒙抒情、革命抒情、国族主义与身份认同等不同方面对中国现代文学史的编纂传统进行突破。王德威在此文学史中体现出的抒情意识意在将抒情视为后革命、后启蒙时代里思辨现代性的方法,建立起抒情现代性与文学史的联系。中国现代文学史也能够从历史“感”而非历史进程出发被不断认识、探索与重组。The unique lyrical tradition in A New Literary History of Modern China focuses on David D.W.Wang's view of literary history and his practice of lyrical modernity,which is in line with his study of lyrical tradition.Lyricism opens up a possible dimension and space for the writing of literary history since its lyrical tradition breaks through the tradition of compiling the history of modern Chinese literature from different aspects,such as enlightenment lyricism,revolutionary lyricism,nationalism and identity.David D.W.Wang's sense of lyricism in this literary history is intended to view lyricism as a method of discerning modernity in the post-revolutionary and post-Enlightenment era,and to establish a link between lyrical modernity and literary history.The history of modern Chinese literature can also be recognized,explored,and reorganized in terms of historical"sense"rather than historical process.
