摘　　要：纯爱小说《分手信》与梭罗的超验主义思想有相通之处:它们都追求实际生活中的道德法则即生活真理。生活真理在《瓦尔登湖》中是简朴生活,在《分手信》中则是纯爱。与超验主义散文中对自然美景的抒情描写不同,小说通过叙事中的情节给出爱情中的起起伏伏,借助爱情引出更为普遍的亲情和友情,最终通达生活真理。美好爱情是生活真理的象征,爱情的描写通达生活真理,亲情和友情则是生活真理的具体化。纯爱是对生活的体验和领悟,那就是,爱就是让所爱的人幸福快乐。The novel Dear John and Thoreau’s transcendentalist ideas have some similarities:both of them pursue the moral principles in real life,that is,the truth of life The truth of life in Walden is simple living,while in Dear John it is pure love.Different from the lyrical descriptions of beautiful sceneries intranscendentalist essays,the novel presents the ups and downs in romance through its narration,using love to bring out more universal themes of parental love and friendship,and finally reaching the truth of life.Beautiful romance is a symbol of the truth of life,and the description of romance also reveals the truth of life,while parental love and friendship are the embodiment of the truth of life.Purelove is an experience and understanding of life,that is,love makes the loved ones happy and joyful.
