The implementation of underground oil storage in rock caverns surrounding rock grouting to reduce the permeability coefficient of surrounding rock is an important means to achieve the dual goals of improving the water seal of the cavern and controlling the seepage volume of the cavern.Based on an underground oil storage in rock caverns under construction in China, combined with different types of grouting data that have been implemented, the author compares and analyzes the grouting effects of pre-grouting and post-grouting,and summarizes the variation law of water permeability before grouting-unit ash consumption. The results show that the pre-grouting effect is better than that of the post-grouting;under the condition of existing grouting pressure, there is no obvious nonlinear change in the surrounding rock structure at the grouting site, which can further improve the grouting pressure; The permeability before grouting of a considerable number of grouting holes is close to 0 Lu,and the unit ash consumption is only the ash consumption of plugging grouting holes, and there is room for further adjustment and optimization of grouting criteria. The research results have a strong guiding role and reference value for the subsequent grouting of underground oil storage in rock caverns.
