Preliminary Report on the Excavation of the Eastern Gate-Tower Location at the Yangling Mausoleum Park of the Western Han Period

摘　　要：2011年4月~2012年11月,陕西省考古研究院与汉景帝阳陵博物院联合,对汉阳陵帝陵陵园东阙门遗址进行了发掘,发掘面积700平方米,出土以瓦当为主的各类遗物234件(组)。此次发掘进一步厘清了阳陵帝陵陵园的结构布局和东阙门的营造方式,寻找到东阙门建筑规制提升的证据并确定了其毁弃的原因,也为继续开展阳陵遗址的保护研究和展示利用工作提供了重要资料。From April 2011 to November 2012,a joint archaeological team from the Shaanxi Academy of Archaeology and the Han-Dynasty Yangling Museum conducted an excavation at the East Gate-Tower of the imperial mausoleum park.The excavation covered an area of 700 square meters,unearthing 234 artifacts or sets of artifacts,with tile-ends predominating among the various kinds discovered.This excavation clarified the structure of the Han-Dynasty Yangling Mausoleum park and the construction method of the East Gate-Tower.These findings will aid further studies on the evolution of the ritual system related to the gate tower and the reasons for its eventual abandonment.Additionally,this excavation provides valuable reference for the sustainable protection,research,exhibition,and utilization of the site.
