摘　　要：《“非常事件”与美国历史小说——小说再现与意识形态批判研究》出自虞建华教授引领的文学研究团队。它采用海登·怀特和琳达·哈钦的理论框架,以上下两卷的厚重篇幅探寻美国小说和美国历史的渊源,堪称是一部跨学科研究的鸿篇巨制。该书考察美国历史小说怎样将边缘人物中心化,重构诗性真实和诗性正义,消解种族主义的霸权特质。它既是一部异彩纷呈的美国文学史,也展示了洋洋大观的美国历史画廊,书中文学和历史结成的“良缘”为学界提供了研究典范。Disputed Events and American Fiction: A Study of Fictional Representation and its Ideological Criticism by Professor Yu Jianhua and his research team, employs the theories of Hayden White and Linda Hutcheon in its two volumes to explore the profound connections between American fiction and American history, making it a monumental interdisciplinary work.
