深切缅怀现代中兽医学的奠基人蒋次昇教授

摘　　要：蒋次昇(1914―2004),湖南湘乡人,现代中兽医学的奠基人、著名中兽医学家、兽医教育家。蒋先生成功运用中西兽医结合方法治疗驴怀骡妊娠毒血症;研制成功了防治奶牛乳房炎的系列产品,提出了中西兽医结合防制奶牛乳房炎的综合措施;在我国首次确诊奶牛棒曲霉菌病麦芽根中毒。在收集、整理我国兽医遗产的基础上,蒋先生主持编著了一整套中兽医专著,为国家培养了大批兽医专业人才。在先生诞辰110周年之际,我们满怀敬意和思念之情,深切缅怀他为祖国兽医事业作出的卓越贡献。他崇高的科学精神和道德风范永远值得我们学习和敬仰。JIANG Cisheng(1914-2004),born in Xiangxiang,Hunan,was the founder of modern traditional Chinese veterinary medicine,a renowned Chinese veterinary scientist,and a veterinary educator.He successfully applied a combination of Chinese and Western veterinary methods to treat toxemia in pregnant donkey carrying mule,developed a series of products for the prevention and treatment of bovine mastitis,and proposed comprehensive measures combining Chinese and Western veterinary medicine to prevent and treat bovine mastitis.He first made a diagnosis on the poisoning in dairy cows caused by moldy malt root contaminated with Aspergillus oryzae in China.On the basis of collecting and organizing Chinese veterinary heritage,he had presided over the compilation of a complete set of monographs on traditional Chinese veterinary medicine with a large number of veterinary students throughout the country.On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of JIANG Cisheng’s birth,we are filled with respect and longing,deeply commemorating his outstanding contributions to the field of Chinese veterinary medicine.His noble scientific spirit and moral demeanor are always worthy of our learning and admiration.
