摘 要:清人对以烟草为代表的消闲物的认知与文化想象模式延续到了对鸦片烟的接受中。这主要体现在物性认知、游仙类比与女性想象三方面。鸦片烟因具有烟草之“四德”、辟瘴功能及社交效用而融入日常生活。鸦片烟还在烟草引领下进入游仙文化语境,成为理想道德人格的象征。此外,鸦片烟也在烟草咏物作品的影响下,融入美人词赋的意象系统中,与诗意的情感和美的生活方式相联系,其危害性被弱化。经验性的认知方式和道德化、审美化的文化想象遮蔽了鸦片烟的现实面目,构成其被接纳的思想基础。这一发现有助于理解近代鸦片认知观念,并从接受的角度反思中国近代鸦片问题。The Qing people's cognition and cultural imagination patterns regarding recreational substances,represented by tobacco,extended to their acceptance of opium.This was primarily reflected in three aspects:the cognition of physical properties,analogy with the immortals,and female imagination.Opium was integrated into daily life due to its possession of tobacco's“four virtues,”anti-malarial properties,and social utility.Under the influence of tobacco-related literature,opium entered the context of Daoist immortality practices,becoming a symbol of ideal moral character.Furthermore,influenced by tobacco-related poetic compositions,opium became part of the imagery system of poetry and prose about women,connecting with poetic emotions and an aesthetic lifestyle,and thus its harmfulness was weakened.This experiential mode of cognition,along with the moralized and aestheticized cultural imagination,obscured the real nature of opium,forming the basis for its acceptance.This discovery contributes to a comprehensive understanding of the modern perceptions of opium and reflects on the problem of opium in modern China from the perspective of acceptance.
