摘 要:论文以广东P华侨农场为例,探讨了归侨群体在侨居国认同方面呈现出的淡化现象。研究显示,随着国家意识的构建、地方政策的安置、农场体制的改革以及个人观念的转变,归侨群体对于侨居国的认同逐渐淡化。通过针对来自印尼、越南、新加坡、马来西亚、缅甸等多国归侨的半结构式深度访谈,论文探讨他们在交往、婚姻、家乡观念等方面的变化情况。研究发现,通过分散安置和吸纳劳力等方式,P华侨农场的归侨群体形成了新的社区人际关系,从而淡化了侨居国认同。归侨群体在择偶时不再局限于同一侨居国,而是更多地考量年龄和情感等因素,与本地居民和外省人结婚的现象日益增多。此外,归侨群体对祖籍地和侨居国的认同逐渐模糊,转而将华侨农场及其周边地区视为新的家乡。本研究不但揭示了当下华侨农场归侨群体在身份认同方面的转变,同时也反映了全国华侨农场的发展趋向,对于理解归侨群体的社会融入具有重要意义。In the past,returned overseas Chinese in specific farms tended to share a group identity associated with the country of their previous residence.That generated cultural barriers inherent amongst different farms,with regards to customs of conducting weddings and funerals,and interpersonal communication,when crises arose.In more recent years,such a tendency has changed,for a number of reasons such as returnees’stronger identity with China,local governments’policies on reforming returned Overseas Chinese farms,and migration of individual farmers.Based on the author’s field work at the P Farm in Guangdong,this case study captures some major changes in personal relationship,marriage and the concept of“home”that have taken place among returned overseas Chinese.These changes are meaningful for us to understand returnees’collective and individual identities in constant transformation,which in fact align with returnees’gradual integration into local communities.Insights from this research may indicate a common future for all returned overseas Chinese farms.
