新生人口下降背景下民办高校的应对策略研究

摘　　要：生存者,才有可能成为建设者。近年来,中国新生人口持续下降,从2016年的1786万降至2023年的902万,下降了近50%。这一趋势对教育领域带来严峻挑战,尤其是视生源为生命线的民办高校来说,更是如此。本文立足于权威数据,研究发现,民办高校面临生源萎缩、教学质量提升压力增大、办学成本上升、竞争加剧等困境。为应对挑战,本文提出了一系列创新性策略:在招生方面,采取存量优化与增量拓展并重;在师资建设方面,以高水平师资队伍为抓手,提升教学质量;在运营管理方面,以信息化建设为契机,优化流程;在品牌建设方面,以文化品牌塑造为重点,提升美誉度。本研究为民办高校在新常态下实现内涵式发展、争创办学特色提供了新思路和新路径,彰显了民办高校在服务国家发展战略中的责任与担当。Only the survival may be the builders.In recent years,the newly-born population keeps decreasing,which drops from 17.86 million in 2016 to 9.02 million in 2023,that is almost 50%.This has brought great challenge to the field of education,especially to the private colleges,which think student resource very important.Relying on the authoritative data,we can find from the study,that private colleges and universities are facing the troubles such as the atrophy of student resources,higher pressure of improving teaching qualities;rising of running cost and severe competition,etc.In order to meet the challenge,a lot of creative strategies have been put forward,for student recruiting,paying equal attention to the stock optimization and incremental expansion,for the construction of teaching staff,focusing on high-level teaching staff to improve teaching quality;in terms of operation management,using information construction as an opportunity to optimize processes;in terms of brand building,focusing on cultural branding to enhance reputation.This study provides new ideas and new paths for private colleges and universities to achieve connotative development and strive to create academic characteristics under the new normal,and highlights the responsibilities and responsibilities of private colleges and universities in serving the national development strategy.
