美藏上海公共租界警务档案中三则中共史料解析

摘　　要：现藏于美国国家档案馆的上海公共租界工部局警务处档案,保存着1916—1941年间警务处情报部门的原始工作记录。这部分档案为上海档案馆《警务处日报》与《警务情报》的基础材料,具有更直接的史料价值。档案中与中国共产党相关的内容主要涵括公共租界警方查探、拘捕中共党员的案件记录,搜集、调查关于中共的活动情报,记录中共领导罢工的情况,以及关于中共发展态势的特别报告等四部分。这批档案既是研究1921—1936年间中共在上海革命活动的重要资料,亦是从英方视野观察中国革命的珍贵素材。这三则反映上海布尔什维克及早期中共活动的报告,揭示了该档案所富含的重要史料学价值。The archives of the Police Department of the Shanghai Municipal Council,which are now stored in the National Archives of the United States,contain the original work records of the intelligence department of Shanghai Police Department from 1916 to 1941.These archives serve as the foundational material for the Shanghai Archives’“Police Daily”and“Police Intelligence”,offering more direct historical value.The content related to the Communist Party of China in the archives mainly includes four parts,i.e.,the case records of the police investigation and arrest of CPC members,the collection and investigation of intelligence on the activities of the CPC,the records of the strike led by the CPC,and the special report on the development trend of the CPC.These archives are not only important materials for studying the revolutionary activities of the CPC in Shanghai from 1921 to 1936,but also precious materials for observing the Chinese revolution from the British perspective.The three reports reflecting the activities of the Bolsheviks and the early CCP in Shanghai reveal the important historiographic value of the archives.
