摘　　要：2018年7月至9月,武汉大学历史学院考古系联合石首市走马岭考古遗址公园管理所对走马岭城址内城北部(Ⅳ区)进行了发掘。揭露出一批新石器时代房址、灰坑、灰沟、土坑墓、瓮棺等遗迹,出土较多陶器、石器等遗物,文化性质属于屈家岭上层文化和石家河文化,为研究走马岭内城布局、聚落演化提供了新材料。From July to September 2018,the Archaeology Department of the School of History at Wuhan University,in collaboration with the Zoumaling Archaeological Site Park Management Office in Shishou,conducted excavations in the northern section(Zone IV)of the inner town of Zoumaling.The excavation revealed Neolithic features including house foundations,ash pits,ditches,earthen burial pits,and urn burials.A significant quantity of pottery and stone artifacts were unearthed.The unearthed features and artifacts date to the Upper Qujialing and Shijiahe cultural periods.These findings provide new insights into the layout and settlement of the inner town of Zoumaling.
