摘 要:集群夜宿是指同种或不同种个体聚集在一起利用夜宿地及其周围生境共同栖息的行为。鸟类集群夜宿是一种很常见的现象,鸟类个体在夜宿地中分散栖位,享受集群夜宿带来的益处,如提高觅食效率、降低捕食风险和便于体温调节等。但是,不同个体在夜宿地中的不同空间分布会引起个体间的受益差异,而鸟类社会关系和社会地位等方面的社会认知能力会影响个体在夜宿地中的栖位选择。总结了国内外关于鸟类集群夜宿空间和社会结构的相关假说和理论、研究方法和进展,并探讨了存在的问题和今后的研究方向。Communal nocturnal roosting involves individuals of the same or different species congregating at a shared roost and its surrounding habitat.Communal nocturnal roosting behaviour is widespread among birds,where individuals occupy dispersed positions within roosts to achieve functions such as an increase in foraging efficiency,a decrease in predation risk and a reduction in thermoregulation demands.However,different individual’s position in the roost will influence the exact individual benefit derived from roosting,and the social cognitive abilities concerning avian social relations and social status will affect the individual's position choice.The paper summarizes the relevant hypothesis and theories,research methods and progress of communal nocturnal roosting function based on spatial and social organization in birds,and discusses the existing problems and future research directions.
