亚氨基二琥珀酸功能化改性活性炭的制备以及对水中二价铜离子吸附行为研究

摘  要:随着现代工业的迅速发展,水中重金属污染日趋严重。活性炭在重金属治理方面应用广阔,为提高其吸附能力,分别用亚氨基二琥珀酸(IDS)和乙二胺四乙酸(EDTA)功能化处理活性炭得到螯合剂IDS-AC和EDTA-AC。比较两种材料对水中铜离子吸附行为,筛选出对铜离子吸附效果最佳的材料。使用红外光谱(FT-IR)和X光电子能谱(XPS)等表征手段对作用铜后的功能化活性炭表征分析,并进行吸附实验。结果表明:IDS-AC对铜离子具有更好的吸附效果,与原始的AC相比,IDS-AC对Cu(Ⅱ)的吸附量提高了249.69%,EDTA-AC仅提高23.23%。在1mmol/L Cu(Ⅱ)水溶液中,IDS-AC最佳吸附pH为4.0,最佳投加量范围为0.4~1.6g/L,吸附平衡时间在4h左右。IDS-AC对于重金属的吸附是化学吸附,对重金属离子作用机理主要包括材料表面的配位原子N与重金属发生配位作用,重金属被固定在环状结构内,形成稳定螯合物。With the rapid development of modern industry,heavy metal pollution in water is becoming more and more serious.Activated carbon(AC)has a wide application in heavy metal treatment.In order to improve its adsorption capacity,the chelating agents IDS-AC and EDTA-AC were obtained by functionalizing activated carbon with iminodisuccinic acid(IDS)and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid(EDTA),respectively.The adsorption behaviors of the two materials for copper ions in water were compared,and the material with the best adsorption effect for copper ions was selected.The functionalized activated carbon was characterized by FT-IR and XPS,and the adsorption experiments were carried out.It was found that the adsorption capacity of Cu(Ⅱ)by IDS-AC was increased by 249.69%compared with the original AC,while the adsorption capacity of Cu(Ⅱ)by EDTA-AC was only increased by 23.23%.In 1mmol/L Cu(Ⅱ)aqueous solution,the optimal adsorption pH value of IDS-AC was 4.0,the optimal dosage range was 0.4~1.6g/L,and the adsorption equilibrium time was about 4h.The adsorption of heavy metals by IDS-AC was chemical adsorption.The mechanism for heavy metal ions mainly included the coordination between the coordination atom N on the material surface and the heavy metal,and the heavy metal was immobilized in the cyclic structure,resulting in the formation of stable chelates.
