摘　　要：Chen Shigong,styled name Yuren,was also known by the literary name Ruoxu.Coming from Donghaichongchuan(present Nantong City,Jiangsu Province)he was a famous traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)specialist of external medicine of the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644).The Orthodox Lineage of External Medicine(Wai Ke Zheng Zong)written by him has been valued as the founder of the TCM Orthodox School of External Medicine.
