摘 要:议程设置理论在发展过程中始终将“认知”置于关注中心,阐述人是如何加工、转换并输出媒介信息的。然而情绪与认知的紧密联系却始终未在该理论中彰显。基于此,研究采用实验法验证情绪对网络议程设置的影响机制,探究媒介文本的不同情绪效价对网络议程设置效果的影响。研究发现,消极情绪因收窄认知而减弱了媒介议程属性网络与受众议程属性网络间的关联性,表现为聚焦作用。与之相反,积极情绪因增大选择性注意成本、促使受众更加平衡地分配注意,从而增强了媒介议程属性网络与受众议程属性网络间的关联性,表现为分散作用。随着两种情绪效价差异增大,无论是媒介议程与受众整体议程关联性上的差异,还是媒介议程与个体议程关联性上的差异,均随之扩大。据此,未来的议程设置理论研究应更加关注情绪的作用;舆论引导工作也需更加注重“事实表达”与“情绪煊染”的平衡,避免情绪将公众认知带入更加偏狭的方向,造成“群体极化”等次生危害。Throughout the development of agenda-setting theory,"cognition"has remained the focal point,explaining how individuals process,transform,and output media information.However,the close relationship between emotion and cognition has not been adequately highlighted within this theoretical framework.To address this gap,we employs an experimental approach to examine the impact of emotions on the mechanisms of network agenda-setting,exploring how different emotional valences in media texts affect the agenda-setting process.The findings reveal that negative emotions,by narrowing cognitive focus,weaken the correlation between the media agenda attribute network and the audience agenda attribute network,demonstrating a focusing effect.In contrast,positive emotions,by increasing the cost of selective attention and prompting a more balanced distribution of attention among the audience,strengthen the correlation between the media agenda attribute network and the audience agenda attribute network,demonstrating a dispersing effect.As the difference in emotional valence between these two emotions increases,the disparity in their correlation effects also expands.This effect has been verified in both the overall media-audience agenda correlation and the individual mediaaudience agenda correlation.Consequently,future research in agenda-setting theory should place greater emphasis on the role of emotions;likewise,in guiding public opinion,it is crucial to balance"factual expression"with"emotional appeal"to prevent emotions from leading public cognition down a more narrow path,thereby avoiding secondary harms such as"post-truth"and""group polarization".
