摘  要:温带气旋是在副热带地区形成的低压天气系统,与热带气旋不同,温带气旋常伴有锋面系统,被认为是中纬度地区日常天气变化舞台上最重要的“演员”,与强风、暴雨和暴雪等极端天气关系密切。在北半球和南半球,它们分别呈逆时针和顺时针方向旋转,在秋冬季节中高纬度海域上空经常出现大量快速增强的温带气旋,被称为“爆发性气旋”。本文是在2017年《爆发性气旋研究的回顾》一文的基础上,综述了2017年以后国内外在爆发性气旋研究领域的最新进展,并对未来研究方向进行了展望。Extratropical cyclones are low-pressure systems formed in the Earth’s atmosphere in sub-tropical regions.Unlike tropical cyclones,extratropical cyclones are often accompanied with frontal sys-tems,and are regarded as the most important“actors”on the daily weather stage in the mid-latitude re-gions.They are usually linked with extreme weathers such as strong winds,heavy rainfalls and snow-falls.In the northern and southern hemispheres,they rotate in counterclockwise and clockwise direc-tions,respectively.In autumn-winter season,there usually occurred a great number of rapidly-intensif-ying extratropical cyclones over the middle-high-latitude oceans.They were termed as“explosive cy-clones”with less public attention.Following the paper“Review of Researches on Explosive Cyclones”in 2017,this paper focuses on the recent advance of explosive cyclone researches after 2017.Finally,we look forward the future prospects of explosive cyclone research.
