摘 要:明清时期,梅里泰伯庙作为无锡区域性中心道观,逐渐成为地方群体的博弈空间。泰伯信仰能在明清无锡地区贯穿始终,端赖地方家族的鼎力相助和无锡官府的积极引导。明弘治以降,无锡地方家族开始掌握梅里泰伯庙的部分管理权和主持任命权,地方家族捐赠的庙产是滋生这些权力的源头所在。基层社会系统和官府公权系统之间因利益共通而产生合作,地方官绅合力推动泰伯信仰儒家化。此举既为响应国家“神道设教”政策,亦为强化其地方特征和增强区域凝聚力,以此提高无锡在江南的地位。在泰伯由无锡地方性神祇成为江南区域性神祇的过程中,泰伯信仰与明清江南地方社会的经济、政治和文化之间产生诸多联系。In Ming and Qing dynasties,Meili Taibo(梅里泰伯)Temple,as the central Daoist temple in Wuxi,gradually became a public space of power bargaining for local groups.Due to the strong support from local families and the active guidance from the local government,the cult of Taibo persisted throughout the Ming and Qing dynasties in Wuxi.After Hongzhi period of Ming Dynasty,through their donations to the temple,local families gained the right of appointing the abbot of the temple,as well as part of its management rights.Based on common interests of the cult,which was deeply rooted in Wuxi,a tight cooperation emerged between local grassroots social system and the government power system.Local officials and gentry have worked together to promote the Confucianization of the cult.These efforts were not only responses to the national policy of“shengdao shejiao(神道设教)”,but also ways of strengthening local characteristics and enhancing regional cohesion,which were helpful to promote Wuxi’s status in Jiangnan region,too.During the process of Taibo’s transformation from a local deity in Wuxi to a regional deity in Jiangnan,the cult was closely related to the economy,politics,and culture of Jiangnan society in Ming and Qing dynasties.
