摘  要:19世纪以来棉纺织品贸易逐渐进入真正的全球化时期,美英日等多国资本在长江流域现代棉制品市场展开了激烈的竞争。日本资本凭借国家战略的支持,推动行业组织发挥作用,扶持企业追求创新,采取灵活的运销策略,相继击败相对奉行对华自由贸易政策的他国在华资本,最终在全行业占据绝对的优势地位。在这些外国资本的刺激和压制下,中国机制棉纺织业虽然有所发展,但缺乏国家权力的内部推动,经济落后的近代中国无法推行棉纺织工业化。Since the 19th century,the cotton textile trade had become truly global,and many countries such as the United States,Britain,Japan had launched fierce competition in different time and space in the modern cotton products market in the Yangtze River basin.With the support of national strategies,promoting industry organizations to play a role,supporting enterprises to pursue innovation,and adopting flexible marketing strategies,Japanese capital successively defeated the capital of other countries relatively pursuing free trade policies in China,and eventually occupied an absolute dominant position in the whole industry.Under the stimulation and suppression of these foreign capital,China’s machine-made cotton textile industry had developed,but lacking the internal impetus of state power,the economic backward modern China could not achieve cotton textile industrialization.
