摘　　要：毛泽东人民民主思想是毛泽东思想的重要组成部分。对马克思主义民主理论的继承发展、对中国传统民本思想的创造性转化和创新性发展、对西方民主思想的批判反思构成了毛泽东人民民主思想的理论基础。关于人民民主地位功能、本质内涵、体系构建以及制度建设的思想是其主要内容。在深化对全过程人民民主地位作用的认识、强化对全过程人民民主优势特征的把握、推进全过程人民民主制度体系更加健全等方面彰显重要时代价值。Mao Zedong Thought on people’s democracy is a significant component of Mao Zedong Thought.The inheritance and development of Marxist theory of democracy,the creative transformation and innovative de-velopment of traditional Chinese people-based thought,and the critical reflection on Western thought on democ-racy constitutes the theoretical basis of Mao Zedong Thought on people’s democracy.Its main content includes the ideas about the status and function,the essential connotation,the system construction,and the institutional building of people’s democracy.The important contemporary value should be manifested in aspects such as deepening the understanding of the status and role of whole-process people’s democracy,strengthening the grasp of the advantages and characteristics of whole-process people’s democracy,and promoting a sounder in-stitutional system of whole-process people’s democracy.
