摘　　要：《鬼作家》表现了在纳粹德国大屠杀之后,酿成奥斯维辛悲剧的思维模式在西方世界依然存在,这种思维模式导致了犹太民众公共形象与个人生活的分裂,现象与本质的分裂,生活与艺术的分裂,这种分裂的逻辑让犹太知识分子无法走出它的陷阱,使得犹太人牺牲了个体,失去了生活。在《鬼作家》中,菲利普·罗斯通过“代人写作”的自传式叙事策略沟通了生活与艺术,个人生活与公共形象,从根本上破除了分离和对立的奥斯维辛思维模式。The Ghost Writer depicts the widespread strangulation of individuality and the loss of life among the Jewish people in post-war America.This condition is the result of the same mode of thinking that led to the Holocaust in Nazi Germany,which is called the Auschwitz mode of thinking.Causing fissure between Jewish people’s public image and private life,between phenomena and essence,between life and art,this mode of thinking enslaves the Jewish masses and entraps the Jewish intellectuals.In The Ghost Writer,Philip Roth employs the narrative technique of ghost-writing to bridge the gap between life and art,private life and public image,and thereby uproots the Auschwitz mode of thinking.
