摘 要:针对目前注塑模具螺旋式随形水路设计过程复杂耗时且易出错的弊端,根据螺旋式结构的特点,结合水路设计经验提出了一种随形水路自动生成方法。该方法首先基于最小包围盒技术根据模具型芯大小生成辅助螺旋线,通过将螺旋线投影至模具型面的偏置面上,从而得到参考轨迹线。其次对参考轨迹线进行排序,并采用增量弧长法自动生成控制点,计算并比较参考轨迹线的首尾控制点至进出水口坐标点的距离,从而按照随形水路生长方向对所有控制点进行排序。最后调用样条曲线函数,按照顺序串起所有控制点生成轨迹线,沿轨迹线扫描形成冷却管道。以NX软件为平台,二次开发了随形水路自动设计模块与NX无缝衔接,实现了提出的全部算法。实例验证表明,该方法大幅度缩短了设计时间,减轻了设计人员的工作负担,提高了随形水路的设计效率和质量,具有一定的应用价值。In response to the drawbacks of the complex,time-consuming,and error-prone in design process of spiral confor-mal cooling channels of injection moulds,an automatic generation method for spiral conformal cooling channels was proposed based on the characteristics of the spiral structure and combined with cooling channel design experience.In this method,auxiliary spiral line was first generated based on the minimum bounding box technology according to the size of the mould core,and the spiral line was projected onto the offset surface of the mould surface to obtain the reference trajectory line.Next,the reference trajec-tory line was sorted and the incremental arc-length method was used to automatically generate control points.The distance from the control points at the beginning and end of the reference trajectory line to the coordinates of the inlet and outlet was calculated and compared,and then all control points were sorted according to the growth direction of the conformal cooling channels.Finally,the spline curve function was called to string all control points in order to generate the scanning trajectory line,and the cooling channel was formed by scanning along the trajectory line.An automatic design module for conformal cooling channels based on NX soft-ware platform was secondary developed and seamlessly integrated with NX software,implementing all the algorithms proposed by above method.The example verification shows that this method significantly shortens the design time,reduces the workload of designers,improves the design efficiency and quality of conformal cooling channels,and has certain application value.
