吐蕃时期耗牛角崇拜与“如莱杰”名义考

摘　　要：关于吐蕃“七贤臣”之首“如莱杰”的研究,学术界多集中在其生平和事迹等考证之上。但是,对“如莱杰”名义解析的研究少之甚少。结合吐蕃早期文献资料中关于对“牦牛角”的记载以及相关考古资料的分析,可以推断出“如莱杰”之“ru”(如)字为“ra-co”(角)的另一种写法,“如莱杰”意为“角生”。这与文献和考古资料引证的西藏自史前时期以来就有耗牛角崇拜习俗的说法相契合。因此,作为吐蕃“七贤臣”之首的“如莱杰”的名义是否也与这种文化背景具有内在的关联,以此抛砖引玉,供学界讨论。Researches about ru-las-skyes,the head of the"seven wise ministers"in Tubo,the academic circles mostly focus on his life and deeds,but not on the meaning his name.Combining with the records of"Yak horn"in the early documents of Tubo and the analysis of related archaeological materials,it can be inferred that the word"ru"means"ra-co"(horn),and"ru-las-skyes"means"born from horn"This is consistent with the claim that yak horn worship has been practiced in Tibet since prehistoric times,as cited in literature and archaeological sources.Therefore,it is a key point to be discussed that whether the name"ru-las-skyes"is also intrinsically related to this cultural background or not.
