In recent years,bike-sharing has been widely used as a low-carbon and environmentally friendly emerging travel mode, which can effectively solve the"last kilometer"problem of residents'travel.Due to its characteristics such as open use environment and being good for social distancing, the characteristic of using bike-sharing to travel in the context of public health emergencies has become a hot topic.Based on the public data set, this paper analyzes the spatiotemporal characteristics of bike-sharing travel in Chicago in 2021 and 2022.The results show that in 2022,bike-sharing rides decreased significantly compared with 2021,yet the decrease of bike-sharing ridership was lower than buses and rail, that in terms of temporal characteristics, despite the impact of public health emergencies,bike-sharing riding still presented an obvious morning and evening peak phenomenon with 5~10 minutes cycling duration, and that in terms of spatial characteristics, the cycling distance was mainly short or medium, and the cycling hotspots appeared in the downtown area of Chicago and showed a trend of spreading from the downtown area to the suburbs.
