TA。Mg-Gd-Y-Zr-Er-Ag alloy conical shell was prepared by isothermal die forging.Room temperature tensile experiments were carried out along the normal direction(ND),circumferential direction(CD),and axial direction(AD)of the shell, and their deformation behavior was analyzed in depth. The results show that the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of AD and CD samples in which prismatic slip plays a dominant role is higher than that of ND samples in which basal slip and{1012}twinning dominate the deformation.Grains with〈0001〉axis close to the tensile axis(TA)are prone to activate{1012}twinning,and as the〈0001〉axis gradually deviates from TA,basal slip and prismatic slip are activated sequentially. The activation of basal slip and{1012}twinning will cause a change in the〈0001〉axis of the grain, while the prismatic slip mainly affects the orientation of the〈1120〉axis.The combined effect of different deformation mechanisms results in that the{0001}pole of the tensile sample further deviates from TA.
