摘　　要：随着2007年中共十七大正式提出“生态文明”概念,世界范围越来越多的人才对生态文明问题给予高度关注,美国亦是如此。研究内容包括生态文明研究的基本概况和最新动态、主要代表人物与核心议题、美国学者对建设生态文明必要性的研究、生态文明内涵和愿景的探究、生态文明所需思维方式的探讨、生态文明需要何种教育的研究、生态文明的希望在中国的缘由以及美国的生态文明研究的启示。研究启示为:当代美国的生态文明研究对推动全球生态文明建设和深化中国生态文明研究,增强中国建设生态文明的自信,建构中国自主的生态文明理论和生态文明话语体系都具有其独特的意义。With the concept of"ecological civilization"officially put forward at the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2007,more and more talents around the world began to pay attention to the issue of ecological civilization,and the United States is no exception.The main content of this study includes the basic situation of ecological civilization research and the main latest representative and the core issues,American scholars on the necessity of the construction of ecological civilization,the connotation and vision of ecological civilization,the way of thinking,the education of ecological civilization,the study of ecological civilization in China etc.The result is:the contemporary American ecological civilization research has its unique signif-icance that can promote the construction of global ecological civilization and deepen China's ecological civilization research.As a good result,it enhances China's construction of ecological civilization to construct China's independent ecological civilization theory and ecological civilization discourse system.
