摘　　要：There is an architectural curiosity in Vienna's 3rd district.Built in the 1980s and adorned(装饰)with odd,coloured shapes,this building has become a source of inspiration for many ecologicallyminded architects.Standing right next to a modern glass building,it is like an oasis,with about 250 trees thriving on its roof and balconies.In recent decades,the hanging gardens have been on the increase in Vienna.多年来,维也纳的绿色屋顶已然成为建筑物顶部一道亮丽的风景线。它们不仅在炎炎夏日带来清新凉爽,还为减少碳排放作出了积极贡献。
