摘　　要：长颈鹿为世界上现存最高的陆生哺乳动物,具有较高的观赏价值。近年来,长颈鹿群体规模及种群数量急剧下降,被世界自然保护联盟(IUCN)评定为易危(VU)物种。太原动物园在对长颈鹿多年的饲养过程中积累了一些成功经验。文章主要通过对长颈鹿日常行为长时间观察,总结长颈鹿日常饲养以及疾病防治方面关键技术,探讨如何更好地饲养长颈鹿,为动物园长颈鹿饲养繁殖及疾病防治提供相关参考。Giraffe is the tallest terrestrial mammal in the world,which has high ornamental value in the zoo.In recent years,the size and number of giraffes have dropped sharply,and they have been rated as vulnerable(VU)species by International Union for Conservation of Nature(IUCN).Taiyuan Zoo has accumulated some successful experiences in the process of raising giraffes for many years.Based on the long-term observation of giraffe's daily behavior,the key technologies of giraffe's daily feeding and disease prevention were summarized,and how to feed giraffe better was discussed,so as to provide references for giraffe's breeding and disease prevention in zoo.
