摘 要:在学习西方旅游学说的同时,我国旅游学界一直在尝试建构有中国特色的旅游管理知识体系。文章以中山大学旅游研究团队的集体研讨成果为基础,提出自主知识体系建设应以人类旅游活动为主要研究对象,并主张采用“旅游需要”“旅游响应”“旅游实践”和“旅游效应”等基本概念来解释旅游活动的过程、行动、关系与结果。通过分析“旅游需要—旅游响应”的矛盾运动规律,文章推导出“社会成员旅游需要的无限性”“社会响应个体旅游需要的能力有限性”和“社会响应个体旅游需要的态度有界性”等基本假设,并借此归纳出中国旅游管理学科建设的主要任务--化解“人民群众日益增长的旅游需要”与“社会对旅游需要的响应相对滞后”之间的矛盾。总的来说,旅游管理学科的自主知识体系建设应立足于中国式现代化发展的实践,摆脱西方旅游研究的传统经济分析范式,从而更好地服务于文化和旅游事业的高质量创新发展需求。Based on a reflection on the tourism research paradigm in Western countries,domestic scholars are building an independent knowledge system for China’s tourism management theories and practices.Inspired by the teamwork of Sun Yat-sen University’s tourism management school,this study posits that China’s tourism management discipline should take“tourism activity”as the primary research object,which includes tourists’intentional activities to pursue personal physical or mental enjoyment and society’s corresponding activities to meet people’s tourism needs.Given this research object,a framework comprised of four basic concepts-tourism need,tourism response,tourism practice and tourism effect is proposed to systematically explain the nature and rationale for tourism activities.Specifically,individual tourism effect depicts the degree to which specific tourism practices can satisfy individuals’tourism needs.In contrast,macro tourism effect refers to the sum of all tourism practices’impact on society’s economy,culture and environment development.Notably,by examining the interrelationship among these four concepts,this study proposes the following hypotheses:1)People’s tourism needs are unlimited;2)Society’s ability to respond to people’s tourism needs is limited;and 3)Society’s attitude on echoing people’s tourism needs is bounded.These research hypotheses can clarify the research scope of China’s tourism management disciplines.Following these hypotheses,this study further reveals that the fundamental contradiction between“tourism need”and“tourism response”can be summarized as a continuum of“opposition”and“unity”,which may dominate the specific process of“tourism practice”and therefore produces various“tourism effects”.By analyzing the unity/opposition between“tourism need”and“tourism response”,practitioners can obtain helpful guidance for continuously optimizing tourism practices and simultaneously produce individual tourism utilities at the micro-level a
