文科拔尖人才培养的现实挑战与实践路径——基于改革开放以来南京大学文科拔尖人才培养历程的考察

摘　　要：改革开放以来,文科教育在高等教育中的地位得以重新认识,文科基础学科拔尖人才培养在高等教育强国建设中具有重要的战略意义。南京大学顺应时代发展,经历了文科恢复重建、文科强化部、荣誉学院“大文科”模式、“拔尖计划”多样性发展等阶段,发现培养文科拔尖人才面临学生选拔的科学性有待提升、课程内涵整合与教学管理支持难度高、学生课程负担重、综合素质提升不足等挑战。南京大学根据新时期的培养目标,创新选拔组织机制、改革人才培养方式、加强基础育人要素建设、凸显学科专业特色优势,提供了新时期文科拔尖人才培养的“南大方案”,以期进一步深化文科拔尖人才培养改革,提升人才自主培养能力。Since the Reform and Opening-up,the importance of liberal arts education in higher education has been reacknowledged,because high-level talent cultivation in basic disciplines of liberal arts has been strategically significant in the construction of a strong country in higher education.In response to the changes of the times,Nanjing University has gone through the stages of restoring and reconstructing liberal arts disciplines,strengthening liberal arts departments,setting up honors colleges under“Great Liberal Arts”model,and implementing diversified“high-level talent programs.”During this time,the university has also encountered challenges such as the need for a more scientific student selection,the increasing difficulty in curriculum integration and teaching management,the increasing load of study for students,and less significant improvement of students’comprehensive quality than expected.To tackle the challenges,Nanjing University keeps innovating the organization mechanism of selection,exploring new ways of cultivation,consolidating the basic components of education,and strengthening its unique disciplinary advantages.The“NU Approach”is intended to provide a reference for the reform of the liberal arts high-level talent cultivation and enhancing our ability to nurture talent independently.
