摘　　要：阿克罗伊德的历史小说可以被分为互文小说、传记小说、侦探小说、考古小说、成长小说、反事实小说和改编小说。他不仅采用了精彩纷呈的叙事手法讲述了一个个迷人的故事,而且通过对伦敦的历史书写探讨了民族精神、文化传统、历史起源、家庭伦理、种族矛盾、科学发展等令人深思的社会问题,因此,阿克罗伊德的小说实现了“文”与“道”的最佳兼容,引发读者对英国历史和当下全人类普遍问题的追问和思考。Ackroyd's historical novels can be divided into intertextual novels,biographical novels,detective novels,archaeological novels,bildungsroman,counterfactual novels and adapted novels.He not only tells a series of fascinating stories by using wonderful narrative techniques,but also discusses some thought-provoking social issues such as national spirit,cultural tradition,the origin of history,family ethics,racial contradictions,and scientific development through historical writing of London.Ackroyd's novels achieve the best compatibility of form and matter,stimulating readers to inquire and think about British history and the common problems of mankind at present.
