摘　　要：炎炎夏日,最令人期待的旅行莫过于避开都市的热闹喧需:去广袤的草原、清澈的河流,丰富的湿地和茂密的森林,寻找一份自由舒适的清凉。当大多数人涌向气候宜人的避署胜地时,有一个地方却以“中国热极”的独有姿态,成为另一种极致验的代名,它就是火焰山。The Flaming Mountain,lying on the northern edge of the Turpan Basin,Xinjiang,running east-west,has an overall length of about 1oo kilometers,and a maximum width of 10 kilometers.Its main peak Qinglongzui has an elevation of 831.7 meters.When sunlight hits the massif,the red rocks reflect a strong light,looking likeburning flames.So,itgot the name Flaming Mountain.
