摘  要:Era(Escherichia coli Ras-like protein)蛋白是一类含有典型的GTPase结构域和Ⅱ型KH结构域的双结构域的特殊类型的GTP结合蛋白。Era是细菌存活必需的,具有多样的生物学功能,如细胞生长发育、细胞凋亡、细胞自噬、免疫反应和核糖体成熟等。Era同源蛋白广泛存在于动植物和人类体内,其结构特点和功能多样性近年日益受到关注。综述了细菌Era及其动植物同源蛋白的结构、功能和分子作用机制,阐释了不同物种Era蛋白的结构和功能的异同,以期为进一步深入了解Era蛋白的进化特点和生物学功能提供更多的参考。Era(Escherichia coli Ras-like protein)protein is a special type of GTP binding protein with dual domains that contains a typical GTPase domain and a typeⅡKH domain.Era is essential for bacterial survival and has various biological functions,such as cell growth and development,apoptosis,autophagy,immune response,and ribosome maturation.Homologous proteins of Era are widely present in animals and plants including humans,and their structural characteristics and functional diversity have received increasing attention in recent years.This article reviews the structure,function,and molecular mechanism of action of bacterial Era and its homologous proteins,and explains the similarities and differences in the structure and function of Era proteins from different species.The review will provides more reference for further understanding the evolutionary characteristics and biological functions of Era proteins.
