斐冬活动年代考辨

摘　　要：随着希腊地区考古活动的兴起,考古材料为古希腊史研究提供了大量信息,许多问题形成了由文本向物质的考古学转向。不过,斐冬的活动年代问题,其文本与实物证据并未如“二重证据法”的要求产生交叉印证,而是呈现平行之势,在奥林匹亚纪年线索的基础上,以文本为导向的结论得到广泛认同,影响至今。面对奥林匹亚纪年相关文本证据的充分研究,斐冬所处时间的问题需要将更多材料纳入视野。综合相关文献和考古材料而言,斐冬活动的年代应当是文献与考古材料能够呼应的公元前8世纪中后期。这一时期的阿尔戈斯社会不仅生产繁荣,而且出现了一系列重要的政治、经济、军事和宗教活动,对阿尔戈斯乃至早期希腊世界的发展具有重要影响。斐冬是这一发展过程中的关键政治人物。With the rise of archaeological activities in Greece,many important issues in the study of ancient Greece history have turned towards archaeology.However,as to the date of Pheidon,the text and material culture have not been correlated with each other according to"dual evidence method",but demonstrates a parallel trend.Text-oriented time conclusions which based on the Olympia chronology clues still dominate mainstream discussion.As more historical documents of the Olympia Chronicles discovered,date of Pheidon needs to put more evidence into perspective.Pheidon's dating should be the mid-to-late 8 century BC based on the textual and archaeological evidences.It was not only a period of prosperity for Argos'material production,but also a period of a series of important political,economic,military and religious events.It had an important impact on the history of Argos and even the Greek world.Pheidon is a key politician in this process.
