摘　　要：黄彭年作为晚清著名学者,曾在主讲直隶莲池书院期间创建了一所专门教授古学的学古堂。莲池学古堂是在清代“经世致用”思潮高扬的大背景下建立的,同时也是黄彭年教育思想的重要实践,对桐城文派在莲池书院的继承和发展发挥了至关重要的作用,极大地提升了莲池书院在全国教育的主体地位。有鉴于目前学术界对莲池学古堂研究过于泛化,该文从莲池学古堂建立的背景、过程,以及建立后的组织架构、资金的使用、开办情况、产生的影响等方面对莲池学古堂进行了较为全面且系统的介绍,并对莲池书院与莲池学古堂的关系做了简单的论述。Huang Pengnian,as a famous scholar in the late Qing Dynasty,founded an ancient school for teaching ancient science when he was teaching Lianchi Academy in Zhili.The Lianchi Xuegu Hall was established under the background of the trend of"applying the world to the world"in the Qing Dynasty,and it was also an important practice of Huang Pengnian's educational thought,which played a vital role in the inheritance and development of the Tongcheng literary school in Lianchi Academy,and greatly promoted the main position of the academy in national education.In view of the current academic research on Lianchi Xuegu Hall is too general,this paper makes a comprehensive and systematic introduction to the establishment of it from the aspects of the background,process,the organization structure after the establishment,the use of funds,the opening situation,and the impact,and the relationship between Lianchi Academy and Lianchi Xuegu Hall is briefly discussed.
