摘  要:Dear Editor,Plants have evolved intricate mechanisms to recognize fluctuating environments,relay signals,and ultimately recover from the cellular and tissue damage imposed by environmental stresses.Upon wounding,mechanical damage is recognized via cellular compounds released from damaged cells(Vega-Munoz et al.,2020)or changes in turgor pressure and cell-wall properties(Hoermayer et al.,2020).
